LossA rare silence echoes through the forest. The almost constant hum of animals scurrying, birds chirping and fish splashing lazily in the nearby shallows of the lake is momentarily paused. A ghostly, almost unpercievable echo surges through the forest, riding the wave of the momentous event. The ancient years seem to cry out in mournful silence as what they've nurtured and shaped since time immemorial is lost. The canopy is broken now and shafts of light pierce the gloom, illuminating those plants no longer protected. Not all of the plants, however, are free to rejoice in the nourishing lig

The Conscience of FlameHouses burning, hearts crumbling as treasured possessions lost. The wildfire, barely two hours old already bearing the weight of immeasurable grief. A young, heavy conscience. A fire must consume or die. Then, a scorched toy in the mud changed something and, finally, the fire submitted to the downpour of water.
